Rowing for All

Row With Us

Harlem River Community Rowing is a volunteer-driven rowing program in New York City. We are committed to providing quality, affordable, accessible rowing opportunities for all New Yorkers and to helping to expand and enhance access to the Harlem River for on-water physical fitness and recreation, in particular for the communities of Northern Manhattan and the West and South Bronx. We hope to see you on the water soon!

Our season is ended, but preparations for next year are underway. We are excited to announce a winter training event with Row House!

Erging, running, strength training, and yoga are great options while we are off the water. We have suggestions.

Have an idea for a winter training activity that you can organize? Let us know! Past activities have included member organized ski trips, running groups and outdoor circuit training.

Your contribution will go into our equipment fund and help keep HRCR flourishing.

An hour-long introduction to rowing, held in our stable eight-seat training barge.

A multi-session coached program offered to those who've done our Get on the Water session.
