Row With Us


Harlem River Community Rowing is a volunteer-driven rowing program in New York City. We are committed to providing quality, affordable, accessible rowing opportunities for all New Yorkers and to helping to expand and enhance access to the Harlem River for on-water physical fitness and recreation, in particular for the communities of Northern Manhattan and the West and South Bronx. We hope to see you on the water soon!

HRCR welcomes you to In Your Neighborhood as part of City of Water Day 2019

We are offering 2 sessions of our "Get on the Water" program on Sunday July 14, where our coaches will teach you how to row an 8-seat training barge in the Harlem River. Here are the details:

- Date: Sunday, July 14

Note that this is a day later than other City of Water events.

- Session 1: 9:30-10:30 - Session 2: 11:00-12:00

- Each session accommodates 8 people (+1 extra)

- No prior rowing experience necessary - Open to anyone age 14 and up

- This is FREE!

- Location: Muscota Marsh Dock in Inwood Hill Park (near 575 West 218th St.)

SPACES WILL BE HELD ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS BY RESPONDING TO info@harlemrivercr.org WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

- Name

- Email

- Preferred Session (PLEASE SPECIFY 9:30-10:30, 11:00-12:00, or EITHER)

We will email you by Saturday at noon if you are confirmed to have a space in one of the sessions.
