To get on the email list through which we announce registration for all our programs, email us at info@harlemrivercr.org.
Requirements to be completed before the first row:
Complete the registration form for the HRCR 2022 programs.
Complete a copy of the HRCR 2022 Rowing Program Participant(s) Waiver and Release electronically or by hand and upload it in the registration form or email it to info@harlemrivercr.org.
Complete/renew a basic membership (admin fee: $15) at USRowing.org, sign their waiver and select Harlem River Community Rowing as your organization.
Complete the SafeSport training (30 min. Abuse Prevention for Adult Athletes Training) provided by USRowing. Access the SafeSport course portal through your USRowing account (see menu bar to the left). More instructions here.

By participating, the participant acknowledges to have read and understood the Handbook 2022 including the Safety Regulations and Procedures and the Emergency Action Plan (See Appendices A and B of Handbook).
By participating, the participant attests to being able to swim continuously for 50 yards (any stroke), to tread water continuously for 5 minutes, and to put on a personal flotation device (such as a life vest) while treading water.
By participating, the participant attests to being vaccinated against COVID19 and to be able to provide proof of that. HRCR may institute more COVID19-related policies and requirements if the public health situation warrants that (See Appendix C of Handbook).
By participating, the participant agrees to inform HRCR (info@harlemrivercr.org) and the Head Coach (headcoach@harlemrivercr.org) of any medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate in our programming by email.
Participants under age 18 must have all participation and waiver forms signed by a parent or legal guardian.
